Boarding at Oosterdokskade 8, 1011 AE Amsterdam, on the jetty next to the floating Chinese restaurant Sea Palace, about 5 minutes on foot from Centraal Station. Parking Centrum Amsterdam Oosterdok is opposite, Oosterdokskade 140, from EUR 10.00 a day. Pick-up at a location of your choice costs EUR 90 excl. VAT. Be on time: a late group gets a shortened cruise, and after 30 minutes the operator may cancel and charge in full. A copy of the renter's ID is required at the start.
Weather and cancelling
Terms (Amsterdam Boat Experience B.V., 7 Oct 2022): free cancellation up to 8 weeks before; 8-4 weeks 25% of the rental price; 4-2 weeks 50%; 2 weeks to 7 days 75%; 7 days or less 100% plus costs already incurred. A no-show is not a cancellation. Catering and other services can be changed free until 72 hours before; later 100% is due. Force majeure, with no refund: storm, high water, ice, early darkness, dense fog (visibility under 200 m), persistent thunderstorms, and wind force 6 or higher for a skippered boat. Rain: open boats get a canopy as standard.
