On the day: Boarding anywhere in the city; for the own boats NO extra sailing fee inside the canal belt (orange locations on the map), a fee outside it (purple locations, shown when you click the location). Stopera and Centraal Station are suggested; arriving by car, park outside the centre (P+R, e.g. near the ArenA) and take the metro. Urgent bookings by WhatsApp.
Weather and cancelling: Share of the invoice due: 25% at 8 to 4 weeks before, 50% at 4 to 2 weeks, 75% at 2 to 1 weeks, 100% under 7 days; EUR 25 admin fee (excl. 21% VAT) after confirmation. Open boats: both sides may cancel only on the day itself for an official code red weather warning, not 1 or 2 days ahead on the forecast. If it rains, Sloepvrienden may put you on an alternative covered boat of its own at its own cost. Big events may differ (stated in the quote). The old tariff page also promised free cancellation up to 2 hours before sailing when it rains (rain guarantee).
