On the day

Bring a card for the EUR 100 deposit (debit or credit, not cash) and a valid ID. You get a short personal explanation and a large A1 water map with four suggested routes before you leave. The jetty is next to Hotel Okura, 5 minutes on foot from De Pijp metro station; you do not need to go into the hotel. A EUR 10 discount applies when you depart between 09:00 and 12:00 (some pages: 09:00 to 10:00). Stag parties are not welcome. No music on board.

Weather and cancelling

FAQ: cancel free up to 24 hours before for a full refund; in very bad weather (dense fog, persistent rain, thunderstorm, storm) you can cancel free on the day itself. The terms are stricter: no refund on cancelling, a free change only on a bad-weather forecast up to 24 hours before (postpone up to 1 year), full price for under 24 hours or a no-show, and the full price if you arrive over 1 hour late without a call. Big events (King's Day, Pride) have their own rules.
