A proper pub crawl by boat: four stops, in order, with the wind doing the work in between. Run it as a route, not a pick-list.
Start at Brouwerij 't IJ under the De Gooyer windmill for the first round, with a dock nearby to pick up the crew. From there drop down to Hannekes Boom, an easy place for more friends to meet you and climb aboard. Then point the bow across the IJ to Pllek out on NDSM, where the open water gives everyone some fresh air. Finish at Café de Ceuvel, tucked into a quiet corner of Noord, for snacks and a last drink as the light goes.
A few honest notes. This one crosses the open IJ, so keep an eye out for the ferries and the bigger traffic, and save it for calmer weather. The stops fill up on warm evenings, so an early start helps. And the docks are first come, first served, with the signs the final word, so read them before you tie up.
