Large lock on the Staande Mastroute (the fixed-mast route through Holland), linking the Nieuwe Meer to the Schinkel southwest of the city. Roomy at 120 m, so it takes plenty of boats at once and turns around often, quieter late in the evening.

Because of works around the Nieuwe Meer lock complex, Waternet has temporarily adjusted the locking procedure to limit disruption.

After boats exit towards the city, the gate closes briefly, then reopens after a short wait for boats entering towards the Nieuwe Meer.

Vanwege werkzaamheden rond het sluiscomplex Nieuwemeer past Waternet tijdelijk het schutproces aan. Om de hinder voor iedereen zoveel mogelijk te beperken is de schutprocedure aangepast.

Na de uitvaart van de sluis richting stad wordt de sluisdeur kortstondig gesloten. Om na een korte wachttijd direct weer te openen voor de invaart richting het Nieuwe Meer.
