Before you go

On the day

Main Amsterdam boarding point is Steiger 14 behind Centraal Station; other fixed points in Amsterdam and Zaandam, see docks. Boards elsewhere on request.

Weather and cancelling

Cancellation by email. Fee = (a) costs owed to third parties plus 10% admin, (b) costs already incurred (e.g. SAIL contribution), (c) a percentage of the reservation value (sailing price plus expected catering): up to 8 weeks before departure 50%, up to 4 weeks 80%, within 4 weeks 90%, no show 100%. First deposit within 14 days of acceptance (at least the cancellation cost due at booking); final deposit about 5 days before, based on the final guest count given 14 days before (10% fewer guests allowed). Weather: the operator may not sail or may change the route for weather or third-party safety measures; the customer pays reasonable extra costs. Offers valid 14 days; not binding, subject to availability. Own cancellation insurance is the customer's choice.
