Before you go

On the day

Standard boarding point is Muziekgebouw aan het IJ or Sea Palace; other boarding points cost a transfer fee. You can also board or leave elsewhere in Amsterdam (Central Station, Stopera, Omval, Nieuwe Meer, Amstel towns) by agreeing it in advance with the reservation staff; the Succes berths at Diemen and the lemsteraken at Muiden.

Weather and cancelling

Fixed compensation of the agreed ship price: 15% up to 6 months before sailing, 20% at 5 months, 30% at 4, 40% at 3, 50% at 2 months, 75% at 1 month, 90% up to 1 day before, 100% on the day. Catering and other services: 15% up to 2 months, 25% at 1 month, 50% at 2 weeks, 75% at 1 week, 95% up to 1 day, 100% on the day. Substitution of the client up to 7 days before departure, EUR 50 change fee. Weather: the operator or captain may change the cruise (route, place of departure or arrival, or not sail temporarily) on nautical or meteorological grounds and seeks another solution with the client; extra costs, to the extent reasonable, are for the client. Price may rise up to 20 days before sailing for fuel or tax changes; above 8% the client may cancel free.
