- Boarding and leaving inside the canal belt is free; outside it a small fee applies (100+ boarding locations, 75 km of canals). A convenient place is in front of the Doubletree by Hilton at Oosterdokskade 8 by Central Station, with parking in the Oosterdok garage. The office at Binnenkant 1 is open for a visit; Elisabeth and Monne de Miranda moor next to it, Jean Schmitz at Hotel de l'Europe (by appointment only). Route is flexible; the captain is also your guide in Dutch or English, some speak Spanish or French. Last-minute cruises possible daily 09:00 to 23:00. Own snacks free.
- Weather and cancelling
- Boat trips and packages: free cancellation up to 21 days before departure, catering up to 14 days before; after that 100% is charged. Changes in guest numbers must be sent in writing at least 72 hours before departure. After confirmation a 1/3 deposit is requested (iDEAL, card or transfer); the rest and drinks are settled after the cruise. Rain does not stop a cruise: salon boats are covered with central heating. Extreme weather, high water or frost can stop one (terms 2.1).
