- At the Kromme Rijn next to the FC Utrecht stadium, towards Amelisweerd and Rhijnauwen. Whisper boats go out in fixed blocks, 09:30-12:30 or 14:00-17:00 (battery charging). Free parking after 11:00 and at weekends; busy on match days. Maximum speed 4.5 km/h; towing behind a whisper boat is forbidden. During the Waterloobrug closure (Kranenburgerweg) the electric boat and the rowing boat cannot reach the city centre; canoes can be carried round.
