About the event
Now in its second edition, Phono Lake Festival turns Phono Lake's island on the Sloterplas into three stages of house music for one Saturday, produced jointly by Phono Lake and promoter Breakfast Club. The 2026 lineup leans into the genre's roots, programmer Lawrence Vandeputte curating a bill of overlooked house-music originators alongside newer names, running from early afternoon into the evening.

From the water
Sloterplas sits at polder level, about 1.7 metres below the central canals, so reaching it from the city is a real lock passage: south via the Kostverlorenvaart, Admiralengracht and Erasmusgracht to the Burgemeester Cramergracht, then through the Slotermeerschutsluis (locally also called the Cramersluis). Boothuis and Phono Lake share a real dock right at the festival address, usually a genuine tie-up on an ordinary day, though we can't confirm it stays open to boats during the festival itself.

We don't have confirmation it stays open to boats during the festival, with around 2,000 people expected on site. Worth considering while you're in the area: Watersport Vereniging Sloterplas, a members' club a short walk along the shore, also takes visiting boats (passanten) if you call ahead, a good backup if the venue's own dock is full or closed for the day, especially if your usual mooring is already nearby. Either way, getting onto the Sloterplas at all means passing through the Slotermeerschutsluis first, so check its hours before you set out.
