Marée Circle curates small, themed gatherings for Amsterdam's boating community, mixing people with and without boats of their own. The wine tasting is one of a handful of recurring formats alongside an island escape and a drift-in cinema night, each run as a flotilla rather than a fixed venue: the boats that show up become the venue for the evening.

From the water
This one only really works from a boat: a small flotilla rafts up while a guided sparkling-wine tasting is poured from deck to deck. No stage, no crowd on the quay, just boats gathered for an evening.
How it works
Going to this one by boat
Being there: Boats raft up together as they arrive; guests come aboard whichever boat is hosting them for the evening, not a shared stage or dock.
The evening: Simple by design: raft up together, taste a guided sparkling-wine selection from deck to deck, and swim if you feel like it. No fixed programme beyond that.

Do I need boating experience?
Not as a guest. Hosts are expected to be comfortable running their own boat and hosting others aboard.
What happens if the weather turns?
Per Marée Circle, genuinely bad weather means the evening is cancelled outright and everyone is refunded in full, rather than running it in conditions that are not safe or pleasant on the water.
Is there a membership fee to join Marée Circle?
No. Per their own FAQ, there is no membership fee or ongoing commitment, they just keep each gathering thoughtfully curated rather than open to everyone.
