Open water in the RAI-haven basin right off StrandZuid beach, behind the RAI. You can drop anchor (ten anker gaan) out in the middle of the basin and swim off the boat, with the beach club and its terrace on the quay just off your bow. It is calmer harbour water tucked off the Boerenwetering canal, but it is not official zwemwater (designated swimming water) and the quality is not monitored, so go in at your own risk and keep an eye out for sloops coming in to the StrandZuid docks. Prefer to step straight onto the terrace? Tie up on the StrandZuid quay instead.
